Both teams have perfect records this season...

Albert Roca's Bengaluru FC are on cloud 9 at the moment. The team from the Garden City are riding high on confidence after two victories at home against Shillong Lajong and Chennai City FC where they scored five goals and conceded none. The southerners now face a Mumbai FC side that are on the back of two wins in the league, the last of which was a hard fought 2-1 win away to Churchill Brothers.

Mumbai who are currently in 3rd place in the table after Bengaluru and Mohun Bagan, will be a tough nut to crack under Santosh Kashyap, one of the more experienced coaches in the I-League. Roca on the other hand will want to accumulate as many points as he can at home before a run of tough away games to East Bengal and Churchill Brothers.

Team News

Albert Roca has hinted for the last two weeks about the need to keep his squad competitive and fresh as they challenge for the I-League title and aim for a run in the AFC Champions League. Cameron Watson who missed out on the weekend win over Chennai due to a stomach flu may return to the starting XI while CK Vineeth and Roby Norales may be handed their first I-League starts.

Kashyap will in all likelyhood look to retain the same XI that beat Churchill as they look to make it TWO away wins in a row.

Head to Head

The fixture has thrown up some of the most competitive battles in the I-League circuit. The last six meetings between the two sides have seen four draws and a win a piece with 13 goals being scored.

Man to Watch

Roby Norales-Bengaluru FC: The Honduras striker was on target in his first appearance in a Blue shirt when he lashed home a botched clearance late into the second half against Chennai. The frontman gave the Blues a different dimension up top and Roca will have no doubt noticed this as he plans to take on a Mumbai side that have not been afraid to go the aerial route.

Steven Dias-Mumbai FC: The 33-year old midfielder has been an ever present face in the I-League having plied his trade with the likes of Churchill Brothers, Air India and Bharat FC. He pulled the strings in the away win against Churchill and will be a key face in the Mumbai midfield as they look to end Bengaluru's strong start to the season.

Probable line-ups

Bengaluru FC (4-2-3-1): Amrinder (GK), Khabra, Johnson, Juanan, Ralte, Watson, Lenny, Chhetri, Eugeneson, Vineet, Norales.

Mumbai FC (4-2-3-1): Kattimani (GK); Reagan, Kim Kima, Pratik, Shallum Pires; Shirodkar, Hanghal; Farukh Choudhary, Thoi Singh, Dias, Victorino Fernandes
