This is a big positive for Liverpool, who are still looking to balance out their performance in the final third. It will be interesting to see Alexander Isakâs performances after the international window.

The Marco Rose will not be happy with this result at the Vitality Stadium. The team is surely capable of scoring goals, but they completely lacked the finishing touch today. Out of their eight shots, only two of them were on target and neither of them went in. Bournemouth challenged Liverpoolâs defence at various stages of the game, but it was not quite enough.

Bournemouth created opportunities but could not find the final touch needed to beat Liverpool. Alisson made an important save from Evanilson, while Joe Gomez and the rest of the defensive unit helped the Reds preserve their clean sheet.

The fixture carried extra significance for Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola, who was returning to the club he previously managed. After Liverpoolâs frustrating 0-0 draw against Fulham, the 1-0 victory provided a positive result before the international break.
