Brazil secured a convincing 0-4 victory over India in their international friendly at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata on Saturday. Carlo Ancelotti’s side controlled the game for large periods, with their technical quality and attacking depth proving decisive against the Indian side.
Estêvão opened the scoring in the first half before Pedro doubled Brazil’s advantage shortly before the interval. The visitors continued to dominate after the restart, with substitute Samuel Lino making a significant impact by scoring twice to complete Brazil’s four-goal haul. India struggled to contain Brazil’s attacking threat, while the visitors remained defensively disciplined to secure a clean sheet.

Pedro Morisco made his Brazil debut and enjoyed a relatively comfortable evening between the posts. India struggled to create clear opportunities, although the goalkeeper remained composed whenever he was called upon. He completed the entire match and was the only Brazil starter to remain on the pitch for the full 90 minutes.
Matheuzinho – 7.5/10
Matheuzinho looked comfortable on the right side of Brazil’s defence and contributed to the team’s attacking build-up before being replaced by Vanderson at half-time.
Marquinhos – 7.0/10
The captain provided composure at the back and helped his side keep India’s attacking threat under control before being replaced by Jair Cunha in the 60th minute.
Arthur Dias – 7.0/10
Making his Brazil debut, Arthur Dias looked assured in central defence. He played his part in clean sheet before making way for Mauro Júnior in the 60th minute.
Douglas Santos – 7.0/10
Douglas Santos offered stability from the left side during the opening half. He helped his side maintain control before being replaced by Gabriel Magalhães at the break.
Estêvão – 8.0/10

Estêvão was one of Brazil’s most influential attacking players on the night, opening the scoring in the 28th minute with a composed finish. The winger continued to trouble India’s defence with his movement and direct running before setting up Pedro for the second goal. After contributing a goal and an assist, Estêvão was eventually withdrawn in the 67th minute, with Breno Bidon taking his place.

Pedro enjoyed an impressive outing in his first start for Brazil, doubling his side’s advantage shortly before half-time after Estêvão had opened the scoring. He also turned provider in the second half, assisting Samuel Lino for the third goal before being replaced by Endrick in the 61st minute. His goal and assist made him one of the key attacking contributors on the evening.
Vinícius Júnior – 6.5/10:

Vinícius Júnior started on the left side of attack but found it difficult to produce a decisive contribution during his time on the pitch. With Ancelotti making several changes at the interval, the forward was replaced by Samuel Lino at half-time, bringing an end to his involvement in the match.

Samuel Lino made a significant impact immediately after coming on for Vinícius Júnior at half-time. The forward scored the third goal in the 58th minute after combining with his teammates before producing another impressive finish deep into stoppage time to complete the 4-0 victory. His two goals were his first for his nation at senior international level, making his second-half appearance particularly influential.

Endrick replaced Pedro in the 61st minute and offered a fresh attacking presence for the final half-hour. Although he did not find the scoresheet, his movement kept India’s defence occupied as Brazil looked to extend their advantage.

Martinelli came on for Andrey Santos in the 61st minute and added further attacking pace to Brazil’s side. With the visitors already in a commanding position, he helped maintain the pressure on India during the closing stages.
