Cameroon announce squad for September's AFCON 2027 qualifiers; Bryan Mbeumo called up
The Indomitable Lions will begin the qualification round for AFCON.
Cameroon will start their qualifying battle against the Comoros on September 24, 2026, before going to Congo on September 29.
Cameroon’s September fixtures will be against Comoros and Congo as they begin their AFCON qualification rounds to book their place in the competition.
They are in group G of the qualification and will face the likes of Namibia, Comoros, and Congo. Head coach David Pagou has announced a provisional squad for the fixtures, and he is likely to reduce the number of players in the coming days.
Manchester United ace Bryan Mbeumo has been picked up in the squad as Pagou will filter out his roster prior to the games.
The Indomitable Lions will be keen to go and book their place in the competition, and the first two matches will decide their fate during the qualification round.
