A Seleção will face Australia in another friendly before taking on India

Coach Carlo Ancelotti has already stated that the lineup would change in the upcoming matches, but he hasn’t provided any information regarding who will be added or removed.

The Italian coach has decided to give fresh players a chance in a number of positions, especially midfield and defence, which were the most deficient during the last cycle.

Ancelotti will make changes for upcoming friendlies

In preparation for the next friendly against Australia and India, Brazil’s head coach Ancelotti experimented with seven alterations during training, most notably utilising Raphinha as a centre striker in a 4-3-3 system and experimenting with several possibilities in goal.

In addition to evaluating Hugo Souza and Morisco in goal, he tested Raphinha through the centre as a striker in light of his impressive performance there for Barcelona.

As pressure rises to recover in Brisbane, Ancelotti made seven changes to the team that drew 1-1 with Australia in Townsville.

Raphinha to play as a striker for Brazil

Raphinha, new captain of FC Barcelona, played the whole ninety minutes for Brazil in the number 10 role, against Australia in their first friendly of the international break.

Raphinha is not expected to be rested by Ancelotti, as he is now getting ready for a second match against Australia on Tuesday, though he may alter his starting lineup.

According to reports in Brazil, Ancelotti has been testing him as a No. 9 with the national team during practice, and he may replace Endrick as a striker.

With a scorching start to the new season, Raphinha has been playing as a 9 for Barcelona with tremendous success, scoring 14 goals across all competitions.
