The veteran tactician opined only hard work will change the situation for the Black Panthers.

Mohammedan Sporting Club technical director Raghunath Nandi is confident that the team will solve their goal-scoring woes.

The team has been playing well and creating chances, but they have misfired in front of goal in recent times. The Black Panthers have scored only twice in their four Calcutta Premier Division ‘A’ matches thus far.

“It worries any team if you don’t score. We have to work on it as much as we can,” Nandi said. “We have been doing well, but we have to convert our chances. We are missing a lot of chances and if we were converting our chances we would be talking a different story now. But we are not looking down as a team. We are positive and we are not giving up.”

Mohammedan Sporting Club have played a goalless draw with George Telegraph in their most recent league game which was played at Mohammedan Sporting Ground last weekend.

Nandi says his side need to improve on all fronts ahead of their next league game with Calcutta Customs on Friday August 24, 2018.

“For us we need to go back to the drawing board to deeply analyse and improve in all aspects.” Nandi continued.

“It’s a process that we need to work very hard on in order to make our players confident and relax in the situations that they are creating.  So we have to go out there again and work extra hard to make sure that they come out feeling a lot more confident. I believe in these boys, I believe in their qualities,” the mentor concluded.
