Charles De Ketelaere: List of all goals in FIFA World Cup history

Charles De Ketelaere has scored three goals in the quadrennial tournament.

Belgium booked their place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-finals, where they took on Spain at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on July 10. The Red Devils fell behind to Fabian Ruiz’s goal at the half-hour mark, but Charles De Ketelaere equalised before half-time.

It marked his third goal in the expanded 48-team World Cup edition in North America, two of which came in the 4-1 win over the USA in the Round of 16. The Atalanta forward has been superb for his nation and is one of the main reasons for them reaching the last-eight stage.

Interestingly, he remains his nation’s joint top scorer in the tournament along with Romelu Lukaku, with three goals.

Goals 1 & 2: USA 1-4 Belgium

De Ketelaere opened the scoring for the Red Devils in the ninth minute. It came from a team move from the European side, with Nicolas Raskin winning the ball from Chris Richards’ attempted clearance. The midfielder played a cutback that was met by De Ketelaere, who finished from close range.

The forward then scored another in the 33rd minute. It came from a brilliant cross from the flanks by Leandro Trossard, which picked out De Ketelaere. The latter headed the ball into the top corner with ease.

Goal 3: Spain vs Belgium

De Ketelaere equalised the score for the Red Devils in the 41st minute. Trossard teed up Timothy Castagne down the right, who floated a ball into the box. De Ketelaere met it with a diving header just ahead of Pau Cubarsi and found the back of the net.
