Colwill & Caicedo - Chelsea injury news ahead of Brighton Premier League clash
The Blues will host the Seagulls on Sunday.
Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has stated that Levi Colwill and Geovany Quenda will be eligible to participate against Brighton & Hove Albion this weekend.
Chelsea will try to create momentum in their quest for their first Premier League crown in nine years. They began their season with a 3-2 victory against Fulham on Monday.

When asked regarding Colwill and Quenda’s physical condition, the Spaniard stated, “There are no difficulties.”
“There were no issues, and the plan is that they are training [from Friday] and preparing for the game on Sunday. With Levi, after his injury last season, he is still in a period where he has to take the right steps, we don’t want to push him too much. We want to make sure [his body] doesn’t get stressed and that he feels comfortable and well. It’s the same with Geo.”
Moises Caicedo, in addition, is scheduled to return to practice on Friday. He will be closely monitored before making a final decision on his involvement in Chelsea’s Sunday match at Stamford Bridge.
“He is hopefully training [on Friday], and we are hopeful that he can be involved [vs BHA]. But we need to check. No decision has been made.”
Caicedo sustained an injury in training last week, missing victories against Fulham and Luton Town.
Fernandez was anticipated to be in the team against Luton Town. But he was pulled out due to interest from Manchester City.
Wesley Fofana has returned from a ban. He is ready to play competitively for the first time this season. He missed the last two games after receiving a red card at Sunderland on the last day of the previous campaign.
