Chelsea vs Leeds United: Full lineups confirmed as Estevao starts in Carabao Cup 2026-27 match

Chelsea FC are all set to square off against Leeds United. It is going to be their third-round fixture of the EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) 2026-27. This interesting clash between these Premier League clubs is scheduled to take place at Stamford Bridge.
The Xabi Alonso-led side have now suffered their first defeat of the season. They are coming in after a 1-2 loss against English top-flight champions Arsenal. Even though the Blues managed to take an early lead, their defence was not good enough to stop the Gunners.
Alonso’s Chelsea will now be looking to progress further in the Carabao Cup. They have been putting in top efforts in the final third, but they have lacked composure in the defence. They have only secured one clean sheet in their last four games.
That too against Luton Town in their cup contest. Anyhow, the Blues at home are going to have a slight advantage.
Leeds United have initiated their Premier League 2026-27 campaign on a positive note. They are still undefeated in their new campaign and will be looking to keep it that way moving forward. The Whites are coming in after being held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion in their last league outing.
Daniel Farke’s men will be looking to take down Chelsea in their upcoming EFL Cup contest. It is not going to be an easy fixture for them away from home. They do have a capable squad.
