The Red Devils are on a two-match winning run against the Blues!

Chelsea FC will be locking horns with Manchester United for their ninth matchweek fixture of the English Premier League 2026-27 campaign. Stamford Bridge is all set to witness this high-voltage clash between the two clubs.

The Xabi Alonso-led side are now out of the Carabao Cup after losing to Liverpool in the fourth round. They have now lost their last two matches. Chelsea FC fell prey to Tottenham Hotspur in their last league outing. It was a 0-2 loss in what was an underwhelming performance by them.

The Blues will be at home for their upcoming clash and it is going to be a perfect opportunity for them to make a comeback. They must control the game from the start and will be looking to turn the tide against Man United.

Led by Michael Carrick, the Red Devils are now winless in their last eight matches and will be under pressure for their next one. The English manager will be desperate to help his side get back to winning ways. They suffered a 0-3 loss at the hands of Bournemouth in their previous Premier League outing.

Manchester United have only secured one win in the league so far this season and are placed 16th on the points table. Being away from home is only going to make things tougher for them, but a strong strategy might help them bag three points.

Morgan Rogers continues to perform well under Xabi Alonso. He displayed a strong performance against Liverpool in the recent EFL Cup encounter. The 24-year-old broke the deadlock in the 40th minute after converting a spot kick, but it was not enough to get Chelsea a win. He took the most shots (6) and was a complete engine in the final third. Rogers will be eager to come up with another top show.

Bruno Fernandes (Man United)

The Portuguese midfield ace was benched during the 0-3 loss against Bournemouth. Youri Tielemans underperformed as an attacking midfielder. Bruno Fernandes is most likely to start for Manchester United this time around. He is going to play a crucial role both in the midfield and the attacking front for the Red Devils.
