The Coffee Growers will take on the Black Stars in the Round of 32.

Colombia finished top of Group K ahead of the favourites Portugal, and now they will take on the third-place finishers from Group L in the FIFA World Cup. This will be the first meeting between these teams, and the winner will make it into the Round of 16. Both sides’ best finish in the World Cup is the quarter-finals, but now one team will have to exit after this fixture.

The South American side enters this game with full momentum, having won their two group games and drawn a game against Portugal. They have looked composed in this World Cup so far, and are playing some really good football. They are the favourites going into this match, but they can’t afford to take Ghana lightly at all.

On the other hand, Carlos Quieroz’s Ghana started their World Cup campaign very well, but after a win against Panama, they drew against England and lost to Croatia. Despite having very little time with the team, Carlos Quieroz has done a decent job so far. Ghana’s defensive discipline will be a big test for the opposition team, and the Black Stars will be confident going into this match. This will be a mouthwatering clash for sure,

He is the leader of the team, despite not being in his best form, and he was called up to the National Team. Even though he hasn’t scored yet, his impact on the pitch is very much visible. Currently, he plays for Minnesota United in the MLS, and fans do have a lot of expectations for him. Whenever he wears the National Team jersey, he automatically becomes a different player, and despite his age, he is still very much capable of taking his side to the next round.

Antoine Semenyo (Ghana)

Semenyo was born and brought up in England, but he represents Ghana at the international level. So far in his career, he has made 37 appearances with the National team but has only scored three goals. He hasn’t scored in the World Cup yet and will be hungry to help his team by scoring goals. Semenyo is a lethal player who is capable of making a difference by himself only. His physicality and pace will be key against the tough Colombian defence.
