Andoni Iraola’s men secure three crucial points away from home!
Liverpool FC had a visit to Selhurst Park for their 10th matchweek contest of the English Premier League 2026-27 campaign. They battled it out against Crystal Palace in an interesting outing.
The Eagles had some issues at home in stopping the Reds. Despite multiple attempts in the final third, they failed to outscore their opponents. Crystal Palace were not very clinical when it came to the attacking front, and this led them to drop three points. This makes things a lot tougher for Pierre Sage, who might even get sacked after failing to help his side secure some wins.
On the other hand, Liverpool bounced back after their back-to-back defeats against Arsenal and Fenerbahce. This was an easy 3-1 victory for them after Alexis Mac Allister, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak scored a goal each. The Reds now secured their fifth win in their 10 Premier League games.
With this, they are in fourth place on the points table.

1. Alexis Mac Allister breaks the deadlock
After a lot of competition from Crystal Palace in the opening minutes of the game, Liverpool were finally able to get past their defence. Alexis Mac Allister broke the deadlock in the 40th minute. 2. Yeremy Pino proves to be a serious attacking threat
Even though the Spaniard failed to engrave his name on the score sheet, his performance on the attacking front was quite noticeable. Yeremy Pino took the most shots (6) and had the most touches (73). He has been one of the most consistent players for Crystal Palace this season.
Pino was also shown a yellow card during the final moments of the game.
3. Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak make it easy for Liverpool

The German playmaker doubled Liverpool’s lead in the 54th minute, putting the visitors in a commanding position. This performance by Florian Wirtz again highlighted his importance as a genuine threat in the final third. Even though it was a slow day at the office for Alexander Isak in the beginning moments of the game, he finally engraved his name during the final moments of the game on the score sheet, extending Liverpool’s advantage to three goals.
4. Alisson Becker with a strong performance
It was a top-class performance by the Brazilian shortstopper. After a lot of criticism in recent times, Alisson Becker came up with top efforts and helped Liverpool secure an easy win against Crystal Palace. He made seven saves to deny Crystal Palace’s 15 total shots.
Eddie Nketiah was also only able to slip past a penalty in the 90+5′.
5. Another disappointing effort by Crystal Palace

With this loss, Crystal Palace are now at the bottom of the points table. At this rate they might even get relegated.
