Dimitar Berbatov receives clamorous welcome by Manjappada Kerala Blasters' fans

The former Manchester United star remained awe-struck at his reception in India and captured the moments on a video himself. 

Kerala Blasters' marquee inclusion for Indian Super League 2017-18 Dimitar Berbatov was welcomed on an awe-inspiring note as around 100 Manjappada crew waited early morning at the airport to receive him.

Dimitar Berbatov arrived in Kochi at 2:20 am, and the Bulgarian legend was astonished on seeing the presence of Manjappada's crew. With this, Manjappada-Kerala Blasters Fans, who have already established themselves as the best fans' club of India, proved it out to the world the extent and love towards the beautiful game.Manjappada had given similar grandiose arrival to coach Rene Meulensteen and Iain Hume, but the intensity of the fervour Manjappada held today was understood, as Berbatov is one of the biggest stars ever to come down to the country for the star-studded league.

Shocked by the reception even at the awkward time of arrival, Berbatov found himself time to take the video of the fans welcoming him and was in an atmosphere to relish.

Kerala Blasters will kick-start their act on November 17 as they face two-time final rivals ATK in the opening match of the revived ISL, with revenge on their minds. The early arrival of Berbatov will inspire the squad and it is expected that other foreign recruitments shall join the squad in the coming days.
