Canadian rapper Drake has placed a $1.5 million bet on Argentina to win the FIFA World Cup 2026. He also shared his betting slip on social media as part of his partnership with Stake.

The Canadian rapper also backed La Albiceleste during the final of the last edition of the World Cup in the same 90-minute 1×2 market. Despite Argentina’s triumph in the summit clash on penalties, he lost the bet because the game was tied 2-2 after the regulation time.

Meanwhile, Drake has been famous for his huge wagers and painful losses. In the last few years, the Canadian rapper has become one of the most prominent figures in sports betting, regularly placing seven-figure bets at major sporting events.

According to reports, the Canadian rapper has lost 50 of the 80 bets he has placed in major sporting events. Drake also has a history of placing $125 million worth of bets in a single month, only to finish with an $8.2 million loss.

According to reports, he earned more than $1 million after a successful $770,000 bet on Les Rouges to beat South Africa. A few of his major bets have come in the Super Bowl, Copa América, the NBA, and the NHL.
