Egypt starting lineup vs Argentina confirmed for FIFA World Cup 2026 match

The North African side began their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Brazil before thrashing New Zealand 3-1. A dramatic 1-1 stalemate with Iran sealed their place in the knockout stages. They faced Australia in the Round of 32, but could only manage a 1-1 draw in regulation time. The match was decided by a penalty shootout, which the Pharaohs won 4-2.

He is shielded by the experienced centre-back pairing of Yasser Ibrahim and Rami Rabia. Nice’s Mohamed Abdelmonem has not recovered from his ankle injury and will not start tonight’s match.
