Erling Haaland: List of all goals in FIFA World Cup history

Erling Haaland scored a brace on his FIFA World Cup debut.

Erling Haaland became famous after he scored a record nine goals in a single match against Honduras during the 2019 FIFA U-19 World Cup. In the same year, he scored a hat-trick on his UEFA Champions League debut with Red Bull Salzburg against KRC Genk.

His outstanding performance earned him a move to Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, where he spent two successful years before joining Manchester City in 2022. Since then, the Norwegian striker has been on a record-breaking spree.

Haaland is the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals (in 111 games) and also the fastest to score 50 UEFA Champions League goals (in 49 appearances). While the 25-year-old has been one of the biggest stars in club football, his success on the international level has been significantly limited.

Haaland made his World Cup debut during the 2026 edition. Thus, on that note, let’s take a look at the goals the Norwegian forward has scored in the FIFA World Cup.

Erling Haaland: All World Cup Goals

2026 FIFA World Cup – USA, Canada & Mexico

Goal 1: Norway 4-1 Iraq

Haaland scored on his FIFA World Cup debut after David Møller Wolfe passed him the ball in the keeper’s box, and the 25-year-old tapped it in.

Goal 2: Norway 4-1 Iraq

After Iraq found an equaliser against the Norwegian team in the 39th minute, Haaland helped his side regain the lead before the first half could end. The 25-year-old forced the ball into the back of the net.

Goal 3: Norway 3-1 Senegal

It took Norway just three minutes in the second half to score the second goal of the night. In a counterattack where they literally had four players running against two defenders, they won. Arsenal maestro Martin Odegaard’s beautifully weighted pass found Erling Haaland.

The Man City forward did nothing wrong and used his famous left foot to strike the ball to the right top corner from inside the box.

Goal 4: Norway 3-1 Senegal

Just when it looked like Senegal were getting back into the game, Norway score again. It looked the chance got away from Haaland, but it all came back. Martin Odegaard found him once again.

Haaland used his weaker right foot to guide and volley the ball to the net. The ball touched the bar and went into the goal.

Goal 5: Ivory Coast 1-2 Norway

Amad Diallo cancelled Antonio Nusa’s opener, with the match looking destined for extra time. However, the talismanic striker found the back of the net in the 86th minute. Oscar Bobb found Patrick Berg with a fine pass, and the latter made a good run before passing it to Haaland. The centre-forward taps the ball over the line past a helpless Yahia Fofana.

Goal 6: Norway 2-0 Brazil

Unarguably, Erling Haaland’s biggest goal in the FIFA World Cup came against Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil. The Manchester City forward netted a header into the goal in the 79th minute, courtesy of Andreas Schjelderup, to give his side a late lead over the Selecao.

Goal 7: Norway 2-0 Brazil

After netting from close range, the 25-year-old scored a screamer to complete his brace and double Norway’s lead against the five-time champions. Until the round of 16, Erling Haaland scored three braces in the global tournament. Meanwhile, Andreas Schjelderup also completed a brace of assists.
