Teams start dreaming of greatness as they reach the UEFA Euro 2024 knockout stages.

We are in a single-elimination knockout phase from now on, and supporters think anything can happen. Teams disregard how they get there because of this. All they want to do is arrive.

Depending on whether teams qualify and where they finish in the bracket, certain routes in the knockout stages will prove to be simpler than others. Teams are paired according to how they fared in their individual groups, meaning that the Round of 16 pairings are all decided (group winner, group runner-up, or one of the best third-placed group teams).

Every team that finished first or second in their individual group filled out the bracket, and the Round of 16 matchups were prearranged. In addition, the top four clubs in third place have earned a spot in the opening knockout round.
