European clubs come together to wish India on Diwali

The gestures are being appreciated by Indian social media users in numbers. 

The Festival of Lights is finally here as people across India go into a mood of festivity and celebration. Some of the famous football players and teams who have supporters all around the globe made an extra effort to make it special for their fans by wishing them a very happy and prosperous Diwali on Twitter and other social media platforms.

Arsenal who have been in stunning form lately posted a short video in both Twitter and Facebook to send their Diwali wishes and greetings. The Gunners posted a video of Mesut Ozil wishing Diwali to their fans on Twitter.

Their Facebook video was hilarious, where Sokratis, Laurent Koscielny, and Alex Iwobi were asked questions regarding the festival of Diwali. The quiz and the way the players answered was hilarious, as Alex Iwobi was winner of the contest.

Their rivals also did not lag behind as Tottenham Hostpur themelves came up with a short Twitter video, where Argentine midfielder Erik Lamela is seen sending greetings to Spurs fans all over the world in this festive season.

La Liga club SD Eibar also joined the celebrations through Facebook with the others and unfurled happiness and positivity all over. Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City also shared their wishes and love through their posts on social media.

 

Italian giants AS Roma also showered their love and greetings through Twitter.

Bundesliga official also shared their heartfelt wishes through a Facebook video. Where players like Robert Lewandowski, Thomas Delaney, Jetro Williams, Karim Rekik and others from almost all the teams came together to send their wishes for Diwali.

Paris Saint-German and their players like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Gianluigi Buffon, Julian Draxler, and Angel Di Maria featured in a short Facebook video and wished their fans all over the world to keep supporting them and light up their lives on this festive occasion.
