FPL Guru: How your team should look like in Gameweek 15
Keeping faith with players from Everton, Leicester City and Chelsea may pay-off this week.
In a topsy-turvy match, Arsenal came away all three points as they outmanoeuvred a fighting Tottenham side, beating their derby rivals 4-2. Chelsea saw off a resurgent Fulham, while Liverpool needed a last-gasp winner from Divock Origi to claim all three points in the Mersey side derby. Bournemouth succumbed to Manchester City, but Southampton managed to limit Manchester United’s pressure and split the points with the Red Devils.
Gameweek 14 Review
A balanced gameweek for the team with no single player giving standout performances. Marcos Alonso, Wan Bissaka and Robertson had 6 points each owing to their clean sheets in their respective matches. A goal against Cardiff for Wolves gave Doherty seven points but captain Laporte disappointed with just 4 points from his side’s victory against Bournemouth.
In midfield, Eden Hazard got 6 points due to his assist for Chelsea’s second goal against Fulham. James Maddison’s goal for Leicester against Watford gave him 8 points. Callum Wilson had 6 points and the striker came in for Aguero who didn’t feature in the gameweek due to his injury.
Aleksandar Mitrovic, Richarlison and De Gea had below average performances and came away with only two points each this Gameweek. The team, however, finished above average due to the combined performances of the players.
Gameweek 15 Transfers
Gerard Deulofeu’s form is a cause for concern. The Watford player has managed only 8 points in his last four matches. Possible transfers are Solly March and Andros Townsend. March has been excellent for Brighton and the same can be said for Townsend. However, both these players have a difficult set of fixtures coming up.
David De Gea has managed only two clean sheets this season and can be transferred out for Alisson, Ederson or Kepa Arrizabalaga. However, this week due to the set of fixtures no transfers have been made.
Gameweek 15 Line-up
Maddison has been a regular performer along with Alonso and Hazard
[KH_RELATED_NEWS title="Related News"][/KH_RELATED_NEWS]4-4-2 is the preferred formation this week. Mathew Ryan features in goal, with David De Gea moving to the bench due to Manchester United’s fixture against Arsenal. Matt Doherty, whose side faces Chelsea moves to the bench, with Aymeric Laporte, Marcos Alonso, Aaron-Wan Bissaka and Andrew Robertson starting. Gerard Deulofeu is the midfield exclusion this week. Captain Richarlison and vice-captain Ryan Fraser start alongside Eden Hazard and James Maddison. Callum Wilson and Aleksandar Mitrovic start up front with Aguero’s muscle injury forcing him to the bench.
Tottenham aim to recover from the derby defeat when Southampton arrive at Wembley. Wolverhampton welcome Chelsea to the Molineux, while Liverpool visit Burnley. Vicarage Road will witness Watford and Manchester City battle it out. The game of the week, however, is in Old Trafford, where Unai Emery’s Arsenal faces an underperforming Manchester United side.
