Watford-Wolves, Man United-Chelsea and Leicester-Arsenal are some games which will produce the max points.

Two victories over two Champions League aspirants saw Manchester City finally establish themselves in the top of the table. Tottenham and Manchester United succumbed to the grit of the Cityzens as both teams failed to score a single goal in the two matches. Liverpool got the better of Cardiff to be within striking distance of the table-toppers while Chelsea dropped points at home courtesy of a 4-goal stalemate against Burnley. Manchester United’s misery continued after a miserable Champions League exit when they got thrashed at Goodison park by Marco Silva’s Everton. Arsenal too ended the week with 0 points as they lost to Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tottenham recovered from their loss at the Etihad with a resolute victory against Brighton.

Gameweek 35 Review

Aymeric Laporte turned out to be one of the biggest performers of the week. The French centre- back got two clean sheets in two games and finished with 15 points. Matt Doherty got 13 points for his goal against Arsenal and clean sheet against Brighton. Captain Pogba finished with 8 points while Manchester City striker Aguero had 7 points from his two games. Liverpool duo Alisson and Robertson got 6 points each courtesy of their clean sheet against Cardiff, while Marcus Rashford and Nathan Redmond got 4 points each. Sadio Mane’s goalless week saw him register only three points while Bournemouth pair Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser got two points each from their disappointing loss against Fulham.

Gameweek 36 Transfers

Marcus Rashford is transferred out due to his lack of form. The young English forward can be replaced by Ayoze Perez or Wilfired Zaha. However, the player chosen is Raul Jimenez. The Wolves forward has established himself as a legitimate threat upfront.

Richarlison is also transferred out. The Evertonian player can be replaced by his counterpart Gylfi Sigurdsson or West Ham ace Felipe Anderson. The latter is chosen because of his run of favourable fixtures.

4-3-3 is the chosen formation. Alisson remains in goal at the expense of Fabianski, whose side faces Tottenham away from home and therefore is benched.  In defense, Matt DPherty and Andrew Robertson alongside Aymeric Laporte and Aaron-Wan Bissaka. The Liverpool defender is made captain for the week. Ricardo Pereira is moved to the bench. Sadio Mane, Ryan Fraser and Paul Pogba start in midfield with both Felipe Anderson and Nathan Redmond dropping to the bench. Mane is the vice-captain. Sergio Aguero, Raul Jimenez and Callum Wilson start in attack.

With Champions league spot up for grabs, all attention will be on the crucial Old Trafford fixture between Manchester United and Chelsea. Second-placed Liverpool have an early kick-off in Anfield against already relegated Huddersfield, while Manchester City will be looking to continue on their winning ways at Burnley. Arsenal will aim to put their horrible form to rest as they visit King Power Stadium to face a rejuvenated Leicester City. For Tottenham, it is West Ham at home.
