FPL Guru: How your team should look like for Gameweek 7
Marcos Alonso and Eden Hazard are the only players to have crossed the 50-point threshold so far this season.
Manchester United’s woeful season continued after they drew at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers where the newly promoted team dominated proceedings. Chelsea’s hundred percent record fell against West Ham but Liverpool made it six wins from six matches with a dominant win against West Ham United. Arsenal won their fourth game in a row, while Manchester City beat Cardiff comfortably.
Gameweek 6 Review
Captain Aleksandar Mitrovic led from the front providing a wonderful 16 points, scoring a goal for Fulham against Watford. Mohamed Salah and Aguero also scored. However, Callum Wilson, Lucas Moura and Richarlison provided only 7 points. The best scoring came from defenders with 3 out of the 4 defenders who started keeping clean sheets. Aron-Wan Bissaka, Andrew Robertson and Marcos Alonso came away with a combined total of 22 points this week. However, the biggest disappointment of the Gameweek came from the defence also with Steve Cook’s Bournemouth conceding four goals, reducing his return to zero. James Tarkowski did get 6 points however, but only from the bench. David De Gea managed to get a bonus for his performance against Wolves along with 2 points for his 7 saves. He got 5 points with the team finishing well above average. A very positive Gameweek, where the transfers made after Gameweek 5 finally bore fruit.
Chelsea vs Liverpool will be the crucial game
Gameweek 7 Transfers
Pedro has only a 75% chance to play the next fixture and therefore is replaced by Leicester’s top performer James Maddison. The Foxes’ midfielder has delighted King Power Stadium with his performances and has an impressive 34 points in 6 matches. Other possible replacements are Ryan Fraser and Roberto Pereyra.
James Tarkowski can also be replaced with a better defender. Jose Holebas and Trent Alexander- Arnold are possible changes that can be made.

Gameweek 7 Line-up
The formation is changed back to a 3-4-3. David De Gea remains as first choice in goal, with Mathew Ryan present as cover in the bench. In defence top scoring defender Marcos Alonso gets the nod over Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson whose teams face each other. Chelsea’s home advantage gives the Blues a slight edge over their rivals. Aron-Wan Bissaka and Steve Cook are the three remaining defenders with James Tarkowski sitting on the bench this Gameweek also.

The trio are joined by new-comer James Maddison whose Leicester faces a tricky test away from home against Newcastle United. Ruben Neves joins the two defenders on the bench. All three strikers start with Sergio Aguero made the captain because of his home form. The Argentine striker has averaged eleven points at home this season and faces a relatively easy test in Brighton. He is joined by Aleksandar Mitrovic and Callum Wilson.
Stanford Bridge will witness a classic matchup this Gameweek when Liverpool take on Sarri’s Blues. The high profile encounter will be the most anticipated fixture this week with other top teams having relatively easy fixtures.
