5. Gunnar Nordahl: 110 games
In Serie A history, Gunnar Nordahl scored 100 goals in 110 games, which is one of the fastest times for a player to hit that mark. Within Europe’s standard top five leagues, his record is one of the fastest marks among other stars in this list. He has also scored 225 goals in 291 Serie A games, which is one of the most prolific goals-per-game rates in football history.

In the English Premier League, Johnny Campbell scored 100 goals in just 102 games. As a forward for Sunderland, the Scottish player scored 100 goals in just 102 games in 1894, becoming one of the fastest players to do so. The Croatian forward Josip Skoblar set the French Ligue 1 record for the fastest player to score 100 goals in a single season for a single club (Marseille). He did it in exactly 100 games. He is now third in the history of individual records for the fastest century mark in Europe’s top five traditional leagues.

Since he moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich in 2023, Harry Kane has been the best player in Germany. The English forward looked like he was going to break Alan Shearer’s record for most goals scored in Premier League history, but he decided that his time at Spurs and in England was over.
“Very proud, to be honest, to reach 100 goals in the Bundesliga,” after scoring twice in a 7-0 win over Union Berlin, Kane told the Bundesliga website. After scoring another goal, he moved on to 101.
Kane added, “Obviously, I’ve done it in the Premier League, so now to have it in a different league is something I’m really proud of. All I can say is a big thanks to the team.”
