The popular football video game will have women's football clubs for the first time ever.
FIFA 23 will be the final instalment in the long-running FIFA line of video games developed by Electronic Arts. The upcoming edition is special for multiple reasons and one of them is the inclusion of women’s football clubs. Teams from the Women’s Super League and the Division 1 Féminine from England and France respectively will be available for the users once the game releases on 27 September 2022.
Women’s football has gone through leaps and bounds in recent years in terms of popularity. It is heartening to see a bigger inclusion in the popular video game for women footballers and clubs alike. With the addition of women footballers, users are now also aware of their ratings thanks to EA Sports revealing them ahead of the game’s release on all major gaming platforms.

Vivianne Miedema - 89
Vivianne Miedema is a Dutch footballer who plays for English side Arsenal in the Women’s Super League. She is a fabulous attacker with an 89 overall rating in FIFA 23. She has also played for FC Bayern Munich in the past.
Christiane Endler- 89
Christiane Endler is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in women’s football. The Chile international has an 89 overall rating, the highest for a female goalkeeper in the game. She is currently playing for Olympique Lyon, one of the strongest clubs in women's football.
Caroline Graham Hansen - 90
Caroline Hansen plays for Norway on the international stage and FC Barcelona at the club level. She is a winger by trade and has a rating of 90 in FIFA 23. The 27-year-old has already won the league thrice and the UEFA Champions League once with the iconic Spanish club among other silverware.
