The FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2022 Draw: Build-up

Hosts India have been placed in Group A. The 15 other countries that have qualified for the tournament will also feature in the draw. The other 15 nations include China PR, Japan, Morocco, Nigeria, Tanzania, Canada, Mexico, USA, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, New Zealand, France, Germany and Spain.

The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 will be held from 11 October 2022 to 30 October 2022.

Earlier FIFA and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 announced the schedule for the biennial youth tournament. Bhubaneswar is set to host India’s group stage matches beginning 11th October, while Goa has been awarded both semi-finals. Meanwhile, the showpiece game is set to be played in Navi Mumbai on 30th October.

A total of 32 games contested by 16 teams will decide the winner of the seventh edition of the biennial youth tournament over 10 matchdays, with each venue hosting double headers on each matchday

The draw for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will be streamed live on FIFA+ for free along with Voot Select, which is available on the mobile app or website (basis subscription) from 3:30 PM IST. The draw will also be telecast live on television on Sports18 1 and Sports18 1 HD.
