Due to some technical issue, we will not be able to continue this blog. Keep following Khel Now Football and our detailed coverage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The game, as it stands, is 0-3 in the favour of the North Americans, and Paraguay look to have dropped down their attempts. Tom Weah has scored a brilliant brace while Andrew Carleton added another delightful third.
THE WHISTLE IS BLOWN AND BOTH TEAMS WALK DOWN THE TUNNEL, USA LEADING THE GAME 1-0 COURTESY TO A GOAL FROM WEAH.
Paraguay have certainly been the better side, creating one chance after another. The boys just need to keep their head down and concentrate on converting these chances. This is set to be an energizing battle in the second half.
45+2' Ever seen a goalline save like that? Brilliant stuff from the Paraguay defender to stop the certain goal from Akinola. They just need a little more effort in the final third.
45' Four minutes of added time, mostly due to the injury breaks both teams have given to. Paraguay build one more, but fail to finish.
44' Paraguay attacking with intent, and just with a little more finishing ability, would be leading by at least a goal or two. Some sublime build up from the boys in Red and White. Goslin hits the woodwork with a stunning free kick.
42' That's another wasted opportunity from Sanchez. Brilliant and confident build up. Should have done better with the ball on his favoured left foot.
37' Brilliant long ball from Duarte to find Romero, but Sands takes it to safety. USA rebuild. USA have been slightly bullying their opposition physically.
34' Both teams have made their first substitutions. Blaine Ferri is off for Vassilev while Galeano has made way for Romero.
27' Chris Goslin receives a yellow card for stopping a running Paraguayan.
27' Blaine Ferri receives treatment and walks off the pitch with the US medical team. The No. 8 has been one of the best perfomers for the North Americans.
24' Brian Ojeda with a brilliant run down the centre. Receives a clearance and goes YOLO. The move ends with a shot, that is skied.
19' GOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOO! TOM YEAH DOES IT FOR USA! THROUGH BALL FROM CARLETON ON THE FIRST TOUCH, AKINOLA SQUARES IT BRILLIANTLY, AND WEAH SETTLES THE REST!
16' Paraguay have had the attacking intent in the game so far. USA have tried to break them down, but have failed to.
13' Sargent pulls down a Paraguayan defender. The whistle is blown and meanwhile, Carleton is down.
11' High cross, high header as USA try and end the stalemate. The ball goes out for a Paraguay goal-kick.
09' Carleton looks to be one of the best runners with the ball, being calm and always with his head up. The lad will go far, Khel Now predicts.
07' USA attack with Akinola combining with Sargent in the middle and Carleton to the left. The pass is a little behind for Weah. Paraguay come close on a counter as a Sanchez fails to meet a cross.
05' Julio Baez curls in the first corner of the game and it's close, but is headed out. Paraguay have taken the attack to the opposition.
01' USA kickstart the game, attacking from right to left. Stay posted for the key updates.
19:59 PM: Both teams into their final huddles, on their knees. Such uniformity on the pitch makes for a beautiful scene.
19:57 PM: The National anthems are done and both teams pose for photographs.
19:53 PM: The teams have walked out to the centre, led by their captains Josh Sargent and Alexis Duarte. Sargent looks confident while Duarte looks hopeful. Making of a terrific encounter?
19:52 PM: The public, though, hasn't disappointed. It looks to be a handsome number here at the JLN Stadium, with crowd of close to 25,000 surely present. We'll give you the official numbers after the half time.
19:49 PM: The media box looks a little dull as of now, but numbers, we're sure, would swell up as the game begins.
19:45 PM: The substitutes have walked out and taken their spots in the dugout as the increasing crowds cheers the stars that can influence from the bench.
19:40 PM: The pitch is being readied for the game as school kids fill up the stands. The World Cup has been a supreme affair and learning curve for them and these audiences will be the future of Indian football, both as players or supporters.

The knockout stages get going as Colombia take on Germany while Paraguay meet the USA in New Delhi...
That's all from me but my colleague Punit Tripathi is here to take you through the evening's second game. All yours, Punit.
90+4' That's it. Germany pick up a command win and move into the quarterfinals. Arp got the scoring going before Bisseck doubled the lead. Yeboah made it three soon after the brace and Arp completed his brace before being substituted. A disappointing evening for Colombiabut the Germans deserved. their win.
90+1' Four minutes of added time. No more goals to report. Both teams going through the motions a bit.
80' Ten minutes to go in this one and its fair to say the Colombians have been outclassed right from the first whistle. The two impressive performances in the group stage on Matchday 2 and 3 seem a distant memory.
70' Abouchabaka firces another good save out of the keeper. This could have been a cricket score. The Germans started this tournament slowly but they have announced their arrival this evening.
65' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! its all Germany. Arp completes his brace after Tiege gives the ball away with a silly square ball in front of goal. The young striker pounces and just dinks it teasingly over the keeper.
60' An hour gone and Boris Malone comes on for Yeboah as Germany tweak things a bit.
57' Germany still the dominant team. A rare free-kick for Colombia blazed over by Colombia.
52' Let's remind you that we have Paraguay Vs the USA coming up a bit later and we'll be bringing you updates from there too.
49' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL Yeboah makes it three for Germany. I just saw the Colombia team manager running off I presume to book the tickets for the flight home because the pair of Arp and Yeboah have put this one to bed.
46' We are back on in the second half. Campaz and Angel and Angel have come on for Colombia. They replace Caicedo and Meija.
45+4' Yeboah with two back-to-back chances. The first one is cleared off the line and the secoond flashes wide. Just as I say that, there goes the whistle for the break. The Germans have been in the wars but their lead is well-deserved. See you in a bit.
40' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Germany dounble their money. Pinpoint delivery from a corner and Yann Bisseck smashes in a header as their zonal marking fails the Colombians. It had been coming.
35' CROSSBAR John Yeboah rattles the woodwork and Abouchabaka finds the side-netting on the follow up. That should have been 0-2 Germany.
30' Cooling break on thehalf hour.
27' DANGER' ARP is once again through on goal but Meija is there with a fantastic covering challenge
24' CHANCE COLOMBIA its the captain Gutierrez with a lovely shot which goes over.
22' Yadir Menezes with a turn and shot which goes over. Colombia responding well to goimg behind.
20' Colombia with most of thepossession in the first 20 minutes. Germany with the goal.
15' Roberto Meija with a good chance for the South Americans as the ball flashes across the goal. Theirfirst meaningful attack.
10' Josh Vagnoman has come on for the Germans. There has been an early injury and we have our first substitution of the game to Sahverdi Cetin.
7' GOOOOOOOOOOOAL! JANN-FIETE ARP has given the Europeans the lead. What a start to this game.
1' We have kickoff here in the capital.
16:50 Stat: Their only other encounter at this level, at the 2007 edition in Korea Republic, was equally tight, ending in a 3-3 draw. However, this time around there has to be a winner, and a loser that will head for home.
