Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore inspires the India U-17 National Team before they walk out for National pride
The Indian sports minister was ecstatic and showed his support for the Indian Under-17 football team.
The Indian U-17 World Cup Squad gearing up for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India, met with the honorary Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore today (October 03, 2017) in the capital in attendance of All India Football Federation’s General Secretary Mr. Kushal Das.
“The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 is a very important occasion as for the first time an Indian team will participate in a FIFA Tournament and thus it is a great pleasure to be amongst them”, informed the Minister.
Yes Bank and various corporates came together to support the Indian National team.
Addressing the Indian U-17s, he stated, “You are going to play the game of your life and every moment counts. When you enter the field, you should enter to win”
“Every game you play in the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 will be the game of your lives and the games will be etched in your memory forever, so play for your life and play to win”
“Each and every one of you can inspire this nation by what you do on the football field once the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 starts”, Rathore added.
The Minister also wished the young colts luck and said, “Wish you all a great game, we will be cheering for you. Never give up and play strong”

The AIFF General Secretary informed the audience that the, “Indian Team is raring to go and will do us proud”.
“We are ready for the event (FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India) and this is just a beginning for Indian Football, there is a long way to go”

Meanwhile, the Indian U-17s continue to practice in the capital ahead of their clash against the USA on October 06 in their first match of the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 India. India have been drawn in Group A alongside USA, Colombia and Ghana.
