The Women’s World Cup will take place in Brazil.

Brazil will be hosting the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, which is scheduled to begin on June 24, 2027. The event will take place at eight different venues throughout eight cities, including Rio de Janeiro’s renowned Maracanã Stadium.

The Women’s World Cup 2027 final will be held on July 25, 2027. Additional dates for the tournament’s various phases will be announced in due time, as will information about the official group stage draw.

Spain will be the reigning champions in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027, with La Roja hoping to defend their first major championship by winning again in Brazil next summer.

England, who finished second in Australia in 2023, missed out on automatic qualification and will now play in UEFA qualifying play-offs to secure the spot.

Besides hosts Brazil, Japan makes up one of 17 nations that have qualified, along with 2023 co-hosts and semi-finalists Australia, and many more teams will join them in confirming their seats in the coming days, weeks and months.

UEFA has 11 berths in the tournament, while the AFC is guaranteed six representatives and CONCACAF and CAF at least four each.

There will be one spot for the OFC. The inter-confederation play-offs will thereafter take place in February 2027, with three slots available.
