FIFA World Cup 2026 updated bracket after Spain vs Austria in Round of 32

The Round of 32 stage of the FIFA World Cup will end on July 3.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout phase is heating up, with 10 teams having qualified from the Round of 32. Spain became the latest side to book their place in the Round of 16 with an assured 3-0 win over Austria.
La Roja dominated the fixture from kick-off, with Marc Cucurella seeing his goal disallowed due to a foul on goalkeeper Alexander Schlager. However, Mikel Oyarzabal put the two-time champions ahead in the 36th minute with a fine finish.
Luis de la Fuente’s men continued to dominate the match in the second half as well. Pedro Porro doubled the advantage in the 66th minute, putting the European champions in complete control of proceedings. Oyarzabal added a late goal in the 89th minute to wrap up the victory.
As a result of this win, Spain progress to the Round of 16, where they will face the winner of the match between Portugal and Croatia.
