FIFA World Cup 2026 updated bracket after USA vs Bosnia & Herzegovina in Round of 32

USA secure a spot in the round of 16 with an excellent win.
USA became the third and final co-host nation to reach the round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup 2026. They beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 2-0 in the round of 32. Folarin Balogun put the USA in the driver’s seat with his finish before half-time.
However, his goal came at a cost. Later on, their star player, Balogun, was shown a red card. He will miss the next match.
Despite the red card, USA further extended their lead in the gruelling contest. Malik Tillman’s brilliant free-kick beat Bosnia’s goalkeeper to double the host nation’s advantage.
Meanwhile, Bosnia remained stagnant throughout the game, failing to score a single goal. The USA put up a stellar performance to send Bosnia home.
