Les Bleus have eight major international trophies to their name!

FIFA World Cup – 2 (1998, 2018)
Les Bleus secured their maiden FIFA World Cup title on their home soil in 1998. Zinedine Zidane was the star of the show after he scored the brace. Emmanuel Petit added a third goal to make it 3-0 against the defending champions, Brazil, in the final.
The squad was led by captain Didier Deschamps. It was only 20 years later that the France national football team clinched the World Cup crown for the second time. Deschamps, who previously led his nation to glory as a captain, guided Les Bleus to the title as their manager.
The Frenchmen took down Croatia by 4-2 in the final. Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann were the goalscorers.
UEFA European Championship – 2 (1984, 2000)
France won their first-ever European Championship back in 1984. They were the hosts of the tournament. They defeated Spain in the final by 2-0.
Michel Platini and Bruno Bellone each scored a goal and led their nation to the title of European champions. Their second European Championship triumph came at UEFA Euro 2000, and that, too, in dramatic fashion. Les Bleus took down Italy 2-1 through a golden goal.
Sylvain Wiltord scored a late equaliser for France. David Trezeguet later stepped up to score the match-winning goal.
FIFA Confederations Cup – 2 (2001, 2003)
The France national football team won back-to-back FIFA Confederations Cup titles in 2001 and 2003.
They took down Japan 1-0 in the 2001 final. Patrick Vieira scored the match-winner to help his nation bag the silverware. Les Bleus then successfully defended their title on home soil in 2003.
Thierry Henry led France to glory by scoring the golden goal and helped secure a 1-0 victory against Cameroon in the final.
UEFA Nations League – 1 (2021)
The maiden UEFA Nations League title for France came in 2021. They came from behind to take down Spain in the final by 2-1 in the final. Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe scored a goal each in what was a great comeback victory.
The triumph made France the first national team to win the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championship, FIFA Confederations Cup and UEFA Nations League.
CONMEBOL–UEFA Cup of Champions – 1 (1985)
Les Bleus entered the competition as the winners of UEFA Euro 1984. They took on the Copa America champions, Uruguay. It was an easy 2-0 win for France in Paris, with Dominique Rocheteau and José Touré scoring a goal each.
