The Cottagers begin their Premier League campaign in tonight’s match against the Blues.
Fulham will host Chelsea at the Craven Cottage in an exciting Matchday 1 fixture of the English Premier League 2026-27 season on Monday, August 24, 2026. Both teams, under new Spanish head coaches, will look to get their league campaigns underway with a win.
Following the departure of long-serving head coach Marco Silva, Fulham opted to appoint former Real Madrid interim manager Alvaro Arbeloa at the helm. The head coach was joined by Cesar Palacios and Gonzalo Garcia, who signed from Los Blancos. The focus, however, will be on exciting youngster Shea Charles, who joined from Southampton.
Chelsea have been active in the transfer market as well, and fans can see their new signings such as Pep Chavarria, Valentin Barco, Maxence Lacroix, and others in action tonight. Xabi Alonso, who has been appointed as the head coach, will look to get his Blues team off to a winning start away from home.
