The previous outing between these nations took place in 2019!

The Germany national football team will go head-to-head against the Serbia national football team for their third match of the UEFA Nations League 2026-27 campaign. This is going to be an interesting outing, taking place at the Allianz Arena.

Jurgen Klopp’s reign with Germany is not off to a positive start. After being held to a 1-1 draw in their opening game against the Netherlands, they faced a 0-1 loss at the hands of Greece. It was a poor performance by the four-time world champions.

They are now winless in their last four matches. Despite having the majority of the control of the game, the Germany national football team failed to score a goal. They lacked a finishing touch in the final third.

It cost them three crucial points. The DFB-Team will be in desperate need of a win now. Being at home is surely going to help them out.

The Eagles are also off to an underwhelming start to their UEFA Nations League 2026-27 campaign. They have faced consecutive losses in their first two matches and are going to be under pressure for their next one. The Veljko Paunović-led side tried to put up a fight against the Netherlands, but it was not quite enough.

Being away from home will only make things tough for the Serbia national football team. They surely are capable of scoring goals, but must also look for a better performance in the backline.

Felix Nmecha (Germany)

Felix Nmecha was the sole goal scorer for Germany in their opening game of the UEFA Nations League 2026-27 campaign. His performance in the clash against Greece was decent enough. He will now be looking to step up his game and help the Germany national football team back to winning ways.

Luka Jović (Serbia)

Luka Jović was the sole goal scorer for the Serbia national football team in their 1-2 loss against the Netherlands. He came on to the field off the bench in the second half and was quite influential for his side in the attacking front. The 28-year-old took the joint-most shots (6) and had the joint-most touches (7) in the opposition’s box.
