The Gaurs could do the double over Mumbai with a win on Wednesday…
FC Goa will be looking to keep their winning momentum going when they lock horns against Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Goa on Wednesday. It was against the same opponents that the Goan team registered their first win in ISL 3. Head coach Zico will be high on confidence after a win in their last match against the NorthEast United FC and will be expecting the same result against the team from the metro city. While, Mumbai are in good form and stand third in the league table with 15 points from 10 matches. The only worry for their head coach Alexandre Guimarães will be the defeat in the last match against FC Pune City. But the Costa Rican will be looking to correct his errors from the last match when they take on the Guars. Team News For the hosts Luciano Sabrosa and Rafael Dumas are suspended while forward Reinaldo is injured. The rest of the squad is available for selection. For the visitors Leo Costa limped off in the last game and remains the only doubt ahead of this one. Head to Head Mumbai City has managed to beat Goa once in the five encounters between these two teams. While Goa also has defeated them once, which was a 7-0 thrashing of the visitors at Fatorda. Rest of the three matches were goalless. Man to Watch Romeo Fernandes-FC Goa: The Local hero scored the winning goal in the last match and kept the team’s hopes alive of making the playoffs. Romeo is known for his pace and control on the ball. Like the last match, he will be in charge of the right wing and the winger will be a threat for the Mumbai defence. Diego Forlán–FC Mumbai City: The Uruguay forward has played an excellent role with the metro city club this season by scoring 2 goals and assisting once. With his ability to surprise opponents with a quick run in the box and shots from distance, the striker will be the man to watch in the match. Probable Line-ups FC Goa: (4-4-1-1): Kattimani, Gaikwad, Gregory, Debabrata, Cardozo, Mandar, Richarlyson , Romeo, Goncalves, Robin, Coelho. Mumbai City FC (4-4-1-1): Amrinder, Khongjee, Vieira, Goian, Ralte, Cunha, Vadócz, Singh, Defederico, Forlán, Chhetri.
