Goa Police Cup 2021: Teams, Fixtures, Venues & more

FC Goa are the defending champions of the 14-team cup competition.
The 17th edition of the Goa Police Cup is set to begin on November 7, 2021. Velsao Sports & Cultural Club (Velsao SCC) will take on Sesa Football Academy (Sesa FA) in the inaugural game at the Duler Stadium in Mapusa, Goa.
The prestigious cup competition which started in 1963 will be played across the state in seven different venues. The inaugural match, along with the semi-finals and final will be played at Duler Stadium. Chowgule Artificial Turf, Rosary College Ground, Navelim, Sesa Academy Ground, Sirsaim, PVC Parra Ground and Dramapur Ground will be other six pitches which will play host to the remaining matches.

Goa Police Cup 2021: Teams
11 Goa Professional League teams, along with three GFA First Division sides will feature in the knockout tournament.
Teams from Goa Pro League: Dempo SC, Churchill Brothers SC, FC Goa, Salgaocar FC, Vasco SC, Calangute Association, Panjim Footballers, YC Manora, Velsao SCC, Guardian Angel SC and Sesa FA.
Teams from GFA First Division: St. Anthony SC, Albert Developers SC and hosts Goa Police SC.
Defending champions FC Goa will start their Goa Police Cup 2021 campaign on November 10, against another GPL side YC Manora. Dempo SC and Churchill Brothers have been given a bye in the first round and they have qualified directly to the quarter-finals. Former champions Sporting Clube de Goa will not be part of the edition this season as the GPL champions will be featuring in the National Futsal Championship during the period.
The semi-finals will be played on November 17 and 19, and the final is set to happen on November 24.

- Tuesday, November 9 - FC Goa 3-1 YC Manora
- Wednesday, November 10 - Goa Police SC vs Calangute Association
- Thursday, November 11 - Albert Developers SC vs Guardian Angel SC
Quarter-finals
- Saturday, November 13 - Dempo SC vs Vasco SC
- Saturday, November 13 - FC Goa vs Sesa FA
- Monday, November 15 - Churchill Brothers SC vs Winner of Match 5
- Monday, November 15 - Panjim Footballers vs Winner of Match 6
