The Golden Eagles have now moved to the second position in the standings.

Though there some good exchange of play, Sesa FA were first to test their opponents when Shajam P tried his luck with a powerful left foot shot which was dealt by Dempo SC custodian Luis Barreto.

Sesa FA continued to dominate possession and had couple of more chances but Kunal Salgaonkar came closest from scoring, but his effort narrowly missed the mark. At the other end, Dempo SC took the lead when Rajat Harijan initiated a move from the midfield and played a long delivery to Ariston Costa, who laid a perfect pass to Beevan for a simple tap in, 1-0.

Sesa FA continued to strive in search of the leveler but despite playing some good football their attempt to get the goal failed. Second half substitute Suraj Hadkonkar scored the second for Dempo SC from a direct free-kick scoring his eighth goal of the season.

The second half was more of Dempo SC’s play as they not of outplayed Sesa FA but also scored another goal in the 67th minute through Joaquim Abranches. This time it was Beevan D’Mello who came with an assist to Joaquim, whose shot gave no chance to Shajam, 3-0.
