Harry Kane has cemented his legacy as one of the greatest strikers in modern football, with the player proving his prowess at club and international levels. For England, Kane has undoubtedly been the nation’s best player in the modern era, with the player being England’s all-time top scorer with 85 goals, including a historic Golden Boot victory in 2018.

He started the campaign exceptionally, leading the line to help the Three Lions navigate to the semi-finals. Harry Kane started with an incredible brace against Croatia, before scoring his third goal of the tournament against Panama in a 2-0 win, to finish as table toppers.

He then showcased his immense big-game prowess in the knockout rounds, spearheading England’s incredible 2-1 comeback victory against DR Congo in the Round of 32, scoring two exceptional goals.

Kane then scored and assisted once in England’s hard-fought 3-2 win over tournament co-hosts Mexico in the Round of 16. While he didn’t manage any goal contributions against Norway in the quarter-finals, his immense leadership was crucial in sealing a 2-1 win.

England are now set for a heavyweight FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final clash against the reigning champions Argentina on July 16 at the Atlanta Stadium in Georgia, USA.
