Real Madrid was found in 1902. The club have worn a white home kit since its birth. The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium has been home to the club since 1947. Los Blancos are one of the most successful and well-known clubs worldwide. The club were also one of the three founding members of LaLiga (along with Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona) and have never been related from the league.
Real Madrid holds many long-standing rivalries, most notably El Clásico with Barcelona and El Derbi Madrileño with Atlético Madrid. The club established itself on the world stage in the 1950s and 60s winning five consecutive and six overall European Cups and reaching a further two finals. Recently the club won the UEFA Champions League three times on the bounce in 2016, 2017 and 2018. The club also won the Champions League last season.
Barcelona may have won the first LaLiga title. But since then Real Madrid have lifted the LaLiga a record 35 times. Despite all the club's following and success the biggest title the club have won is The Best Club Of The 20th Century FIFA Trophy.
