I-League 2017 Team of the Round 2
The top three all won and East Bengal picked up their first three points of the campaign...
Its was another enthralling week of action in the I-League as the season started to gather pace with games coming thick and fast.
Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru both kept pace at the top, while Mumbai and East Bengal won on the road.
In the round's first match, Aizawl FC picked up a narrow win over Minerva Punjab as Loveday Enyinnaya headed into his own goal deep in second half added time.
A Darryl Duffy brace fired Mohun Bagan to a second successive home win as the Mariners proved too good for Shillong Lajong who are still lookjing for their first points of the season.
East Bengal picked up their first win of the campaign as they edged past DSK Shivajians. Wedson Anselme gave the Red and Gold the lead from the penalty spot. Gouramangi Singh equalized in the second half before Willis Plaza scored a peach with 10 minutes to go.
Elsewhere, goals from substitutes Roby Norales and CK Vineeth saw Bengaluru FC get the bewtter of Chennai City in the season's first Deccan Derby. The visitors could have lost by much more had it not been for keeper Karanjit Singh who was once again in inspired form.
In the weekend's final game Mumbai FC came from behind to trounce Churchill Brothers. Brandon Fernandes gave the hosts an early lead with a well taken free-kick. Victorino Fernandes equalized 10 minutes before the break. But, substitute Karan Sawhney scored the winner in added time to nick all three points.

Aizawl and East Bengal are on four points, while Chennai and Minerva have a point each. Churchill, Shivalians and Lajong are still pointless.
