Mohun Bagan add sixth foreigner, sign Spanish winger Julen Colinas

The Mariners' latest acquisition is a product of the Real Sociedad academy.Spanish winger Julen Colinas Olaizola has joined Mohun Bagan as their sixth foreigner in the squad. A Real Sociedad product, Colinas played for Spanish Segunda Division B club UCAM Murcia last season.

He was born on April 16, 1988 in San Sebastian, Spain. He started his professional career with the Sociedad U-19 team. Julen, who can play on both wings, can also slot in up top. The vastly experienced Spanish winger has played in 10 Copa del Rey matches, scoring on three occasions. He has featured in 16 La Liga 2 games as well and scored one goal.

He has previously played for Spanish clubs like Real Sociedad B, Real Unión, CD Toledo, CyD Leonesa, Lleida Esportiu. Head coach Kibu Vicuna is happy with the inclusion of the forward in the Bagan squad. He added that the attacker will bring in a wealth of experience to the squad and will definitely be a perfect choice to support the strikers upfront. The Mariners have handed hm a contract for the upcoming season.
