“It is a pleasure to play for Gokulam Kerala FC. The club has given hope for several players like me. I will give my best and my ambition is to start every game in I League. I know most of the Kerala players in Gokulam and it is like a home for me,” he said.

“Faslu Rahman main strength is his speed. He also dribbles a lot. What makes him different from other wingers is his ability to score goals. He has a knack for it,” said Bino George, the technical director of Gokulam Kerala FC.

“It is our duty as a Kerala club to give chance for players like Faslu. He has been under our radar for quite a while. We are glad that another talented Kerala player is in our squad,” said Gokulam Kerala FC Chairman Gokulam Gopalan.

Earlier, the Malabarians have already made a few signings from teams elsewhere in the I-League. The club has already announced the arrivals of Ngangom Ronald Singh from NEROCA FC and former Manang Marshyangdi defender Muhammed Asif. Meanwhile a formal announcement of TRAU FC goalkeeper Shayan Roy awaits, a news which was first reported by Khel Now.
