I-League outfit Sudeva FC have completed the signing of Manvir Singh on a multi-year deal from Kerala Blasters, Khel Now can confirm. The centre-forward will hence be a part of the Delhi-based club as they gear up to take part in the I-League for the first-time ever.

"Manvir Singh has left Kerala Blasters and signed with Sudeva FC," a source close to the developments informed Khel Now. We have also learnt that the youngster has agreed terms on a three-year contract with his new club. The 19-year-old began his career with Ozone FC's youth team, before getting promoted to their senior side in 2018. After eight appearances and three goals with Ozone, he left to join Kerala Blasters in June 2019.

In December the same year, Manvir was loaned out to Indian Arrows, with whom he played in the 2019-20 I-League. He featured for 76 minutes on his I-League debut against Churchill Brothers, a match which the Arrows won 2-1. The youngster went on to make seven more appearances including four starts, before the competition ended prematurely due to COVID-19. At the end of the 2019-20 season, he returned to Kerala Blasters from where he will now join Sudeva FC.

Meanwhile, it was in August that Delhi-based club Sudeva FC were granted entry to be a part of the forthcoming seasons of I-League, along with Sreenidhi FC from Visakhapatnam. While Sudeva will feature in the 2020-21 I-League, Sreenidhi will join them only a season later.

Following their successful I-League bid, Sudeva FC President Anuj Gupta had also confirmed that the club will be fielding an all-Indian XI in its maiden appearance in the competition. "Everyone knows how hard Indian players are working in pre-season. So, as a matter of policy, this year I’ve decided to field an entirely Indian team. I will not appoint any foreign player this year," Gupta had announced while speaking with AIFF.

By securing the signature of Manvir Singh, Sudeva have started to make a mark in the ongoing transfer window, with more signings expected to follow.
