The former CCFC skipper was with Railways and joins Gokulam Kerala FC after getting the nod to play for them. This was a major roadblock in his signing, which was resolved smoothly. He joins the Malabarians, who are looking to bolster their squad ahead of their title defence during the next season. The 2021/22 I-League season is about to start tentatively in December 2021. Early reports suggest that the league competition will take place under a bio-bubble in Kolkata.
Charles Lourdusamy: a midfield asset
Charles Anandraj Lourdusamy is a great addition to GKFC’s squad. The defensive midfielder is a tireless worker and provides cover to the defensive backline. Gokulam Kerala FC’s plans
The defending champions have made a few impressive summer signings. Charles Lourdusamy is the latest arrival following the signing of Pawan Kumar. The Kerala-based outfit has also brought in Deepak Devrani and Mohamed Awal to shore up their defence.
The gaffer Vincenzo Alberto Annese has a good eye for talent and his outfit are tough to score against. Recruitment of Lourdusamy will add an extra layer of protection and his experience will be vital to their cause.
