The attacker has previously played 41 matches in the Indian Super League.
RoundGlass Punjab have made a statement of intent by signing Kean Lewis ahead of the new season. The attacker will join his new side on a one-year contract after playing for Sudeva Delhi last season. The 28-year-old is a seasoned player in Indian football, having played in both the Indian Super League and the I-League.
The Punjab-based outfit have brought in Lewis from fellow North-Indian club Sudeva Delhi. The striker was one of the shining beacons in the Delhi outfit’s squad last season in the I-League. Lewis managed to score two goals and provided two assists in 14 appearances for Sudeva during the 2020/21 campaign. The outfit finished in eighth place overall, avoiding relegation.

Player profile
Kean Lewis signed his first senior contract with legacy club Mohun Bagan after playing in youth setups in India and the United States of America. He made his professional debut for Bagan on 9 January 2016 against Aizawl FC. He also had brief spells for ISL clubs Delhi Dynamos and FC Pune City.
The former Mariner then signed for Bengaluru FC ahead of the 2018/19 season, where he won the ISL title. After a lacklustre second season with the Blues, the attacker joined Sudeva Delhi to play in the I-League again. He has four goals and three assists overall in 41 ISL appearances.
Positive move for the club
RoundGlass Punjab are making smart moves in the market. The club recently completed the signing of Shankar Sampingiraj. The midfielder will certainly add more quality to their squad. The outfit will aim to improve on their performance last term and mount a challenge for the title.

The arrival of Kean Lewis, who has played in the ISL against tougher opposition, will add more firepower in their ranks. The winger will also look to use this opportunity to gain the attention of ISL clubs in order to make a comeback.
Furthermore, Kean Lewis can put a shift as both an attacking winger and a forward. This utility will give more options to the head coach and the club at large. He has pace and technical ability to hurt from set-piece situations as well.
