RoundGlass Punjab FC on a roll
As mentioned earlier, RGPFC are busy in the transfer market. They have announced three players in three days starting with Robin Singh, followed by Rino Anto and now Gurtej Singh. The club appointed Ashley Westwood as the new head-coach and the boss is identifying players to improve next season.
Apart from these three experienced domestic players, the outfit has also brought in Shankar Sampingiraj and Kean Lewis. RGPFC are clearly aiming to challenge for the title and are bringing in players who know what it takes to lift the I-League trophy.
Gurtej Singh is a strong figure and tough to navigate around. He will be the senior-most figure in the defensive department. Young players like Bikash Yumnam will certainly have a lot to learn from the experienced stalwart.
