These entities play a crucial role in the operations of the team.

A football club needs proper planning and support to run smoothly. One of the major aspects of a club’s overall revenue are the sponsors. There are several types of sponsors but the most identifiable are the shirt sponsors, who have their brands stamped in front of the jerseys. All 13 clubs in the I-League have shirt sponsors, who provide brilliantly designed kits to the teams.

Several big brands and companies shell out big money to get their name featured in front of a football team’s jersey. This in turn helps football teams to complete their operating costs and pay their staff. In Indian football, securing sponsors for lower-tier division clubs could be tricky but it is not the case for the I-League. The competition still enjoys a decent viewership and the respective clubs have many high-profile shirt sponsors.

Let's take a look at the shirt sponsors of all I-League teams for the 2021-22 season.
