Sudeva Delhi set to sign defender Kongbrailatpam Manjit Sharma

Sudeva Delhi FC is set to sign the Centre-back Kongbrailatpam Manjit Sharma, Khel Now can confirm. The 26-year-old defender played for Neroca FC and is set to now join the Delhi-based outfit.
"Manjit Sharma will pen a one-year deal with Sudeva Delhi FC," a source close to the development informed Khel Now.
About the Player
Kongbrailatpam Manjit Sharma was born on 3rd March 1996 in Mizoram. The defender came through the local system of Mizoram. Despite being a natural Centre-back, Manjit has expertise playing in the right-back position.

It wasn't until 2019, that he signed his first professional contract with I-League side Neroca FC. He primarily signed a one-year deal with the club but his performance earned him a year more contract in Neroca FC.
Manjit Sharma featured in 23 matches in his overall stint at Neroca FC. He played a total of 1,770' minutes for the orange brigade. Last season, statiscally was his best campaign for Neroca FC. The 26-year-old centre-back featured 12 times last season, clocking a total of 957 minutes - the most he managed for the Orange Brigade in a season.

Sudeva Delhi FC's pre-season preparation for I-League 2022-23
Sudeva Delhi FC had a disappointing campaign last season. The club finished 11th in the point table out of the total 13 teams participating in the I-League. Sudeva Delhi managed just 17 points with four wins in 17 matches, they also recorded eight defeats. Bhutanese head coach Chencho Dorji is looking forward to fighting back for a better position in the table this season.
The team have a solid goalkeeping department which consists of Kabir Kohli, Sachin Jha, and Ashish Sibi. The promising forward Shubho Paul will be instrumental for Sudeva Delhi this season. The most notable signing of the season is the addition of former Mohun Bagan defender Daneil Cyrus to their base.
