Real Kashmir FC set to sign Mohammad Inam for upcoming I-League season

The 21-year-old midfielder previously turned out for Delhi FC.
Real Kashmir FC is set to sign young midfielder Mohammad Inam, Khel Now can confirm. The 21-year-old midfielder played for Delhi FC prior to joining the Kashmir-based outfit.
“Mohammad Inam is all set to sign the deal for Real Kashmir FC, all terms agreed” a source close to the developments informed Khel Now. “Being a homegrown player, he has the potential to reach the top with hardwork and perseverance. It's a homecoming for him. He will sign a one-year deal with Real Kashmir FC.”
About the Player
Mohammad Inam hails from Rainawari in Srinagar. Inam started his footballing career with the youth academy of Real Kashmir FC. His raw talent was spotted by Real Kashmir Youth Academy head Ajaz Ahmad, who got him in.

He played for Real Kashmir in I-League U-15 Football Competition. The young midfielder has the ability to operate both as a central midfielder and a right midfielder.
At the age of 15, Inam grabbed the attention of AIFF scouts during the Nike Youth league in Goa where his team defeated Kerala Blasters FC and DSK Shivajians FC. The midfielder quickly rose to fame in his home state after being called up for the India U-16 trials.
In September 2021, Mohammad Inam signed for Delhi FC. He featured in a total of five matches for Delhi FC in the I-League qualifiers. He also featured for the Delhi-based outfit in the previous edition of the Durand Cup competition.

Real Kashmir FC’s pre-season preparations
Real Kashmir survived relegation by two points last season. The Snow Leopards finished with 14 points from a total of 17 matches and managed to pip the now-relegated Kenkre FC. The club has recently signed midfielder Girik Khosla from Sreenidi Deccan.
Former NorthEast United goalkeeper Sanjiban Ghosh is another major arrival at the club. The club recently acquired the service of Davinder Singh, who previously played for Chennaiyin FC.
