The 31-year-old won the I-League title with Mohun Bagan in the 2019-20 season.
Former Mohun Bagan player Daneil Cyrus is set to sign for Sudeva Delhi for the upcoming I-League season, Khel Now can confirm. The Trinidad and Tobago international will join Sudeva on a one-year deal.
Daneil Cyrus, who previously played at Mohun Bagan, is set to sign a one-year deal with Sudeva Delhi, a source close to the development informed Khel Now. "Depending on how the season pans out, the deal could later be extended," the source added.
About the player
A Trinidad and Tobago international, Daneil has experience playing in Thailand and the Major League Soccer (MLS) apart from the I-League in India. He has also played in Saudi Arabia and Honduras for a major part of his career. Having started his career at Joe Public FC, Daneil moved to MLS on loan with Kansas City in 2011. This was his first venture outside his native country and the defender went on to make two appearances for Kansas City.

On return, Daneil played for a number of clubs in the TT Pro League, the premier football competition in Trinidad & Tobago, including W Connection FC where he made 16 appearances. In 2014, the defender moved to Vietnam and joined top-division club Hanoi FC on loan from W Connection.
However, he left the club a season later and returned to the MLS on loan with Chicago Fire. But the loan move lasted for just six months during which Daneil played only six times.
Following his return from the MLS, Daneil left W Connection and moved to Honduras with Juticalpa FC in 2017. Next he shifted to Saudi Arabia and played for Al-Orobah FC before completing a move to India, where he joined the then I-League side Mohun Bagan.

He made 11 appearances for the Mariners and scored a match-winning goal against the Indian Arrows. In the process, he also delivered two assists. Daneil was a vital member of the Kibu Vicuna-coached Bagan side that lifted the I-League title that season.
However, with Bagan merging with the erstwhile ATK FC to form a new entity and moving to ISL next season, Daneil was released. He moved to Thailand to join Thai League 2 side Chainat Hornbill FC.
