Rajasthan FC to debut in I-League 2nd Division 2020

The club becomes the first-ever football club in the history of Rajasthan to participate in any national league.
In a matter of great pride for the city & state, Rajasthan FC becomes the first-ever club from the state to represent in the I League 2nd division. After being nominated by the Rajasthan Football Association on the basis of the year-long accomplishments, consistent performance & the youth system, the club went through rigorous licensing process by the All India Football Federation & Asian Football Confederation. Post completing & meeting all criteria’s the club will be competing against Lonestar Kashmir, ATK (Kolkata), Jamshedpur FC, Punjab Football Club & Garwal FC (Delhi). The club has chosen Umaid Singh Stadium, Jodhpur, as its home ground and will be looking forward to fans coming in large numbers to support the home team. The dates of the matches are yet to be announced with the tentative time being the from January end to April end. Dilip Singh Shekhawat (Secretary) & Mr. Nadeem Anjum (Vice President). Staying to his commitment of developing & promoting the game in the desert state, Sohil focused on promoting the local talent & providing them with maximum exposure & experience to excel at the top-most level. The team this year is going to be a mix of young & experienced players. Winning & losing is part & parcel of the game but at this stage what is extremely important is the experience which the players & coaches will receive along with bringing in an altogether different level of the game & culture in the state.
