Hyderabad FC will keep a close eye on Sweden’s progress and wishes him the very best for his upcoming stint.Sweden Fernandes is a 21-year-old prodigy who has played well locally in Goa. Fernandes started his career at the Sporting Clube de Goa U-18 team and then shifted loyalties to Dempo U-18 and finally joined the FC Goa youth setup in 2017. Since then, he flourished with his exquisite vision and passing range in the Goa Pro League and also in the I-League 2nd Division.

He also has a knack of chipping in with goals having scored four times and assisted a further twice in the GPL 2019/20 season.Though Hyderabad FC signed Sweden Fernandes before the beginning of the last season of the Indian Super League last season, he failed to register a single appearance for the Nizams.NEROCA FC finished at the bottom of the table in last year's I-League, but still remain in the division as AIFF froze relegation from the I-League last season. With the addition of a talent like Sweden Fernandes, the Orange Brigade will look for a turnaround in this year's I-League.
